If you’ve used us this year, recommended us, left a review, or even just followed along online, thank you. 2025 has been a huge year for More Than Loft Ladders and I wanted to share why we’re proud of it, and what it means for you as a homeowner.

This isn’t a “look at us” victory lap. It’s a simple message: we’ve worked hard to make our service better, safer, and more consistent, and you’ll feel that in the way we look after you.

The work we’ve done this year (and the fun numbers)

We’ve always been about doing jobs properly, but 2025 has been another level. Here’s what we’ve delivered across the network:

Loft ladders fitted: 4,264

That’s a lot of safe access created, and a lot of lofts turned from “no-go zone” into proper usable space.

Loft hatches installed: 3,608

A good loft hatch makes a bigger difference than people think. Better access, better finish, and it stops your loft feeling like a bodged add-on.

Loft lights fitted: 2,633

Because nobody wants to climb into a dark loft with a phone torch in their mouth.

Loft boarding installed: 640,400 sq ft

To make that a bit more real:

• That’s roughly 228 tennis courts of boarding.
• If you laid those boards end to end, you’d cover 121 miles, roughly Brighton to Peterborough.

That’s a lot of new storage space, and a lot of garages and spare rooms getting their lives back.

Insulation installed: 551,130 sq ft

Again, in normal-person terms:

• That’s about 196 tennis courts of insulation.
• Or around 26.2 miles in length (a marathon) if you imagine it laid out in a long strip.

Warmer homes, less heat flying out through the roof, and less money wasted on heating.

Shelving fitted: 33,944 sq ft

That’s about 12 tennis courts worth of shelving. Not bad for something that starts with “we just need a bit of storage”.

Recognition that matters

Awards are nice, but only if they reflect reality.

This year we landed #80 in the Elite Franchise Top 100 for 2026, climbing 19 places. That’s a strong sign we’re growing the right way.

We also had our end of year review with Which? and got praise for a great year with zero complaints and 100% compliance.

For you as a homeowner, that means peace of mind. It shows the systems, standards and customer care are doing what they should.

Training and standards, not just speed

You can buy tools. You can’t buy care, pride, and attention to detail.

This year we launched the MTLL Academy, which keeps our teams sharp, safe, and improving. Whether it’s fitting loft ladders correctly, boarding to a high standard, or advising honestly on insulation, training is what turns a decent job into a great one.

It also means you get a better experience: clearer communication, tidy workmanship, and installers who know what they’re doing.

Safety stayed front and centre

Lofts can be awkward spaces, and older homes can hide surprises.

That’s why we introduced asbestos sampling as part of our operational improvements. It’s about protecting you, your family, and our installers. If your home was built before 1999, there’s a small chance asbestos-containing materials could be present in loft areas, and it’s sensible to have the right process in place.

We’re in your house. Sometimes stepping around the laundry basket, sometimes squeezing past the Christmas tree. We never forget it’s your space, and you’re trusting us to do a job that needs to be safe, tidy, and done properly.

Looking ahead

We’re going into 2026 with a clear goal: keep raising the bar.

More training. More consistency. More focus on customer care. More investment in the way we do things, not just how fast we can do them.
